A celebration of local talent, fresh food, and the community spirit that makes the market so special.
Manotick South Market was born from a simple idea: give the talented makers, growers, and artisans of our community a beautiful place to share their work — and give neighbours a reason to slow down, connect, and shop local every weekend.
Perfectly centered between Manotick, Kars, and Osgoode at 2730 River Road, our market runs every Saturday and Sunday from Mother's Day through Thanksgiving. Rain or shine, you'll find dozens of vendors offering everything from hand-thrown pottery and original paintings to fresh-baked sourdough and locally grown vegetables.
The market is free to attend, welcoming to families and leashed pets, and focused on quality over quantity. Every vendor is reviewed before joining, so you can trust that what you find here is genuinely local and genuinely made with care.
Four principles guide every decision we make about the market.
We exist to bring Manotick neighbours together — shoppers, makers, and growers sharing one vibrant space every weekend.
Every vendor at Manotick South Market is a local artisan, farmer, or small-batch producer. No mass-produced goods, ever.
We review every vendor application to ensure a diverse, high-quality mix that keeps shoppers coming back week after week.
Families, dogs on leashes, strollers, and first-timers — everyone is welcome. The market is free to attend and open to the whole community.
Every market day brings a fresh mix of local talent across four main categories.
Handmade jewellery, ceramics, textiles, candles, and more.
Seasonal vegetables, herbs, honey, and farm-fresh eggs.
Breads, pastries, preserves, and specialty treats.
Original paintings, prints, photography, and sculpture.
